About the Job
You would be part of a global team providing Kubernetes shared cluster as a service to Allianz Technology internal Customers across the globe. This team is responsible for providing a reliable and secure service with incremental updates to our internal customers in a timely manner. All aspects related to the platform provided example, Availability, Disaster Recovery, Vulnerability management, Architecture & Documentation, Service Provisioning, and Incident Handling will be managed by the team.
What you do
Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters in AWS cloud. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the infrastructure deployment process. Collaborate with development teams / customers to ensure applications are designed for scalability and reliability. Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for Kubernetes clusters and applications. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kubernetes infrastructure and applications. Optimize resource utilization and ensure high availability and cost efficiency of services. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Kubernetes and DevOps. Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and team members.What you bring
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Several years of experience in DevOps and infrastructure management. Several years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production in AWS Cloud. Strong experience with AWS cloud. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go. Deep knowledge of containerization technologies. Deep Knowledge of networking, security, and storage concepts in a Kubernetes environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer with extensive experience in software development and DevOps to lead our efforts in automating Cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will focus on building automation for Cloud Landing Zones and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of cloud solutions.
What you do
Design, implement, and maintain scalable and efficient cloud-based solutions on AWS and Azure. Lead initiatives to automate cloud infrastructure. Collaborate with teams to integrate best practices in development, code quality, and automation. Guide and mentor development teams, providing expertise in DevOps and automation practices. Contribute to the design and implementation of cloud applications using serverless architectures, Kubernetes, and event-driven patterns. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments, utilizing GitOps methodologies. Apply security best practices to design and implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms. Monitor and optimize the performance, scalability, and reliability of cloud applications. Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and development trends, applying new tools and frameworks as needed. Ensure software systems meet functional and non-functional requirements while adhering to best practices in software design, testing, and security. Foster continuous improvement by sharing knowledge, conducting team reviews, and mentoring junior developers.
What you bring
Proven experience in cloud engineering, primarily focused on AWS, with Azure as an additional asset. Expertise in AWS/Azure infrastructure automation and proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Golang, or JavaScript. Solid experience with serverless architectures, Kubernetes, event-driven patterns, and cloud security best practices. Knowledge and implementation of CI/CD pipelines, GitOps methodologies, and familiarity with GitFlow frameworks like Flux and ArgoCD. Strong understanding of software architecture, development, systems testing, and cloud technologies, including No-SQL databases and event-driven architecture. Proficient in managing security protocols for authentication and authorization, and applying quality gates like code reviews and pair programming. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to lead and mentor teams, and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.What we offer
