Senior Business Analyst Brand Finance Training & Sportswear (m/f/d)

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

 

The Senior Business Analyst Brand Finance Training & Sportswear acts as a financial consultant and project manager to the adidas BU Finance & Brand Training and Sportswear teams by preparing timely, accurate and relevant management analysis and information concerning the current and expected future financial performance across Brands/Categories, Markets and Channels.

The Senior Business Analyst Brand Finance Training & Sportswear supports and executes the end-to-end range planning and tracking for brand adidas in close collaboration with the Go-to-Market, BU team, PoPs and the adidas Brand Finance teams. This role also executes and supports a holistic approach on financial analysis to assist senior team members in fact-based decision making, increase performance and steering the business to achieve (financial) targets as well as the overall strategy based on the analysis of key KPIs.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Support Brand Finance Director Training & Sportswear in the creation of Board & SLT presentations that drive key project approvals, including cross functional coordination across teams such as Corporate Controlling, BUs, Corporate Strategy, Brand & Sales Finance. Support to Finance Directors and Senior Managers within Brand Finance Training & Sportswear focusing on all product divisions, as well as BU teams to support strategic and operational planning through translating seasonal targets into financial KPIs & financial forecast. Supports and aligns all activities related to the implementation of adidas Brand’s financial targets and initiatives within the Brand Finance function, such as GIM Target, Seasonal volume planning and tracking. Manage monthly Business Review process (analytics, presentation deck, presentation to

Senior Management Team).

Executes Integrated Business Planning (IBP) for the respective umbrella of Sportswear and Training, providing analysis and ensuring input and alignment between markets, BU and Go-To-Market. Support to the Go-to-Market Teams as well as BU Finance teams and other functions on Global Range optimization, planning and tracking with the purpose of creating a consumer centric and efficient Global Range. Support in creating transparency on key business range performance indicators including Franchise planning, Lifecycle planning and Creation Center planning. Support the improvement and standardization of existing controlling tools/models/scenario planning solutions in close collaboration with DNA and other Corporate Controlling teams.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

Deep business understanding of processes and structure High degree of customer understanding and consumer focused orientation Ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment Ability to operate cross-functionally and understanding of external business drivers Understanding of the complexity, interactions and dynamics within an international company Very good project management skills and experience Very good communications skills for persuasion and convincing others Business fluency in English (written and spoken) Very good analytical skills, managing large data quantities from multiple sources Strong Competence with MS office (excellent Excel & PowerPoint), BI solutions/Power BI

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

 

University Degree in Business Administration/Finance/Controlling Function Expertise: at least 2-5 years of experience in similar position Exposure: Finance /Business Analysis / Retail /Project Management Previous experience in Brand Finance will be a plus Industry: ideally in apparel/shoes/fashion/sporting goods or FMCG Passionate about training and fitness
