AECOM is seeking a Senior BIM Modeller - Structures to be based in South Africa's Enterprise Capabilities office in Cape Town. This position will support a team locally based in South Africa and Global Teams. Job Description
Experience in Autodesk Revit Software (MEP and Structures) and Autodesk Civil 3D to model and produce drawings with limited supervision.
Prepare BIM models and deliverables to ensure they meet Client requirements, Industry Standards and project BIM Execution Plan.
Checks the completeness & accuracy of work before review by the Senior Engineer or designated senior team member.
Support work, related to projects in the department, as directed by the Team Leader.
Follow coordination strategy and reporting using Navisworks and other coordination software and supports the team through the delivery phase.
Assist with the management and coordination of all in-coming and out-going model and drawing information.
Manages projects in BIM360.
Organizes own work to achieve set deadlines.
Keeps abreast of the latest software/ techniques to increase productivity.
Modelling of below ground services in Revit, such as conduits, pipes and chambers.
Teamwork:

Support work, related to projects in the department, as directed by the Team Leader

Qualifications
Ability to fulfil all the above duties and responsibilities.
Knowledge of Industry BIM standards, processes, and general approaches
Knowledge to set up the configuration and administration of projects for respective discipline in Revit and AutoCAD
Script writing to develop modelling of underground services in Revit.
Knowledge of Industry BIM standards, MEP Revit and Structures Revit, processes, and general approaches, modelling of underground services in Revit.
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Autodesk BIM 360, Navisworks, presentation software and working on projects in a BIM environment.
Develops BIM content based on BIM modelling standards and as outlined in BEP.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in relevant Revit modelling.
BIM Qualification / Diploma.
