Senior Applications Developer

We are seeking a Senior Applications Developer to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mexico City. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. As a Senior Applications Developer at Marsh, you will be responsible for maintaining high coding standards that reflect Marsh Tech's dedication to excellence.

We will count on you to:

Design, develop, and enhance web solutions using the MEAN framework, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our clients and stakeholders.Implement RESTful and SOAP web services, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and efficient.Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to colleagues to ensure high-quality deliverables.Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and performance tests to ensure the reliability and stability of web services.Work closely with product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

What you need to have:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience Minimum 5 years of full-stack development experience using the MEAN framework including: MongoDB, Node.js, Angular, JavaScriptRelational database experienceExperience designing and developing RESTful APIs, including authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., JWT, OAuth).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues.Proficiency with speaking and writing in English is required.Expertise in Agile Methodologies
