Senior Analyst II - Workday Practice

We are seeking a talented individual to join our HR Digital Transformation team at Mercer. This role will be based in Bangalore/Noida/GGN/Pune/Mumbai. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Plan and prioritize work for self, assist lead by providing inputs on in all the phases of delivery lifecycle, collate and report status/impediments with the greater project team.Lead / Manage – Small implementation projects / Launch implementations, manage workload for the team, assist team in all the phases of delivery lifecycle, collate and report status/impediments with the greater project team.Develop complex configuration for clients and Leads, manage data transformation and perform EIB Data loads.Provide go-live assistance and ongoing support.Coordinate with the Leads for project deliveryCoordinate with the EM / PM and Client for project deliveryMulti-task and engage on multiple projects at a time for lead activities.End to end ownership of assigned projectsProvide leadership and key stakeholders with the information and venues to make effective, timely decisions.

Identify scope, scope gaps & get them addressed.Identify right stakeholders in the project.Communicate & collaborate with project internal / external stakeholders for project success & plan inputs.Gather and document requirements, assess complexity and level of effort estimates, prioritizes capacity, and defines development and analysis timelines.Identify test scenarios, develop test scripts, and provide key support in Workday feature releases, security, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)Mentor and Coach Team Members.Being flexible to work in multiple time zones and multiple teams.Drive Ops excellence culture and lead transformational project(s) with clear visible and measurable impact.Responsible for driving initiatives and ensuring results with a confined focus on timelines and quality.

What you need to have:

Should be Workday Certified in any of these – HCM, Adv. Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, Talent & PerformanceTotal 5-10years of experience (3years in WD)BE /B.Tech /MCA /BSc.Extensive experience working with clients as a “Consultant” to drive implementation projectsRequirements gathering, Definition - Investigate the business / technical requirements for the client’s Payroll needs, work collaboratively with business analysts and architects to clarify requirements and to achieve a consensus on the organization's needs and priorities.Provide a overview to the client on Payroll capabilities of WorkdayDesign the Workday solution to meet the needs.Conducting sessions with client personnel to verify the required aspects of the payroll; help them fill up Payroll related Workbooks.Ability to Configure Payroll components based on the filled Workbook.Experience in Payroll Parallel Testing and Payroll History Loads.Perform self-reviews and smoke testing of the work delivered and review peer’s work.Application Testing – Assist clients with the testing of the Payroll Components. Testing is driven by the scenarios from the client team.Production Support – Includes the practices and disciplines of supporting the Workday solution for a period of time post deployment.Production Rollout – Assist with the rollout of the Workday solution into the production environment.Migration Activities – Thorough on Payroll Migration Components from one tenant to another tenant.Take timely, appropriate action to address stakeholder needs/expectations.Identify and manage issue resolution including escalation as needed.Interact and communicate effectively with mid and senior level management.Works with senior level management for understanding the future priorities and plans.Develop & manage communication plans with stakeholders aimed at improved collaboration.Leverage synergies between global information systems
