We are looking for a Junior Executive Assistant - NA CUO based in New York 

Your Team  

The Executive Support team provides an efficient and responsive administrative, organizational, and logistical service to the Senior Executive, helping to manage and prioritize time. 

 

The Impact You Will Have 

As Junior EA you will report to the NA Chief Underwriting Officer, Allianz Commercial, and work with the existing NA leadership team. Contributing to key projects within the company, you will participate directly in challenging decision-making processes and be in continual contact with strategic leaders. The role is multifaceted and offers the unique opportunity for fast-track personal development.

 

Some of your specific responsibilities could include: 

Independently and actively supporting the NA Chief Underwriting Officer and the NA Chief Technical Officer Steering challenging projects and acting on the behalf of leadership team Steering regular team and function meeting preparation and follow-ups, including pre-screening and challenging of documents, preparation of the Underwriting contribution, and follow-up of actions Preparing and following up meetings and events where the NA Chief Underwriting and NA Chief Technical Officer(s) are involved, eg. external events, workers’ council meetings, client meetings, internal meetings with other Global Heads Being an interface between NA CUO / CTO and the rest of the department, and driving NA CUO / CTO contributions to Allianz Commercial deliverables Steering and coordinating strategic projects, initiatives and workstreams, participating in content-related topics including Allianz Commercial Obtaining and analysing key business data, supporting decision-making across NA CUO CTO, driving project initiatives and steering/planning cycles Working with local and regional underwriting teams to drive improvement initiatives with support across the NA CUO / CTO functions

 

What You’ll Bring to the Role

At least 1-5 years of experience in the insurance sector in areas such as business administration, project management, technical insurance (eg. actuarial, claims, underwriting) Proven experience analyzing complex information and drawing appropriate conclusions Positive and solution-oriented attitude in a challenging and ever-changing environment Ideally you are familiar with Allianz Commercial business and our stakeholders A basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) and its potential applications in business is essential. Demonstrated good project management skills Excellent communication skills at every level of the organization, able to express messages effectively in visual, data, verbal and written formats Self-driven, autonomous and able to handle competing priorities under tight deadlines Experience working with intercultural teams in an international and dynamic context Fluent English is a must, any other languages advantageous

 

The annualized base pay range for this role is $81,041 - $122,491. The annual base salary range represents a nationwide market range. The actual salary for this position may be above and will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the AzC total compensation package. As part of our comprehensive compensation and highly rated benefits programs, employees are also eligible for annual performance-based cash incentive awards.
