As a Senior Actuarial Analyst at Insurance Consulting and Technology Team, you will work in project teams to support our insurance and reinsurance company clients. Our projects cover a wide range of fields including:

Actuarial Valuation and Review, covering

Embedded value valuation Risk based capital and internal economic capital valuation IFRS 17 reporting Own Risk Solvency and Assessment

Insurance Management Consulting, including

M&A independent actuarial valuation Market strategy and entry Asset liability management Design and implementation of management reports New product development, design and pricing License application Capital management

Software implementation, including

Asset liability management model Economic capital model IFRS 17 modelling Liability and stochastic models Processes transformation and automation

You will work closely with global and regional consultants and experts who will complement your experience and skill, in terms of industry development trend knowledge, actuarial techniques, projects and team management.

The Requirements

University Degree Required. Demonstrate progress in actuarial exams  At least 3 year experience in life consulting or (re)insurers. Candidate with less experience may be considered for the role Actuarial Analyst.  Knowledge and experience in Embedded Value, HK risk based capital, IFRS 17 or internal economic capital experience would be an advantage.  Experience in using actuarial software and data analytic tools; Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel (including VBA).  Ability to work well as part of a team, good communication skills, able to efficiently manage stakeholders and timelines, projects management experience preferred.  Strong desire to learn and solid problem solving skills  Fluent in oral and written English and Chinese.
