How you’ll make an impact:

Perform month-end closing activities primarily related to Inventories and Cost of Goods soldPreparation and booking of journal entriesCalculation of accruals and reservesBalance sheet account reconciliationsGathering and analyzing various financial informationEnsure compliance with SOXPreparation of documents and analysis for internal and external auditorsProactively drive process improvementsCooperate with other departments to support them in resolution of inventory financial issues across EuropeParticipate in ad-hoc projects

What you'll need (Required):

University Degree and some years of previous related experience in accounting is requiredProficiency in English
 

What else we look for (Preferred):

Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, predominantly Excel.Substantial knowledge of accounting principles and financial concepts (US GAAP/IFRS, SOX)Knowledge of any ERP systems e.g. JDE, SAP etc.Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinkingAbility to work independently and proactive approach and ability to learnStrict attention to detailAbility to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
