The individual will be closely working with our onsite sales / delivery teams, and participate in solution discussions, and workshops. **Role:** SAP ABAP Developer **Job Level:** Manager **Location:** San Francisco, CA. Work from Home – Hybrid. **Duration:** Full Time only **Job Summary:** We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented SAP ABAP Developer to join our team in a hybrid work environment. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in Core ABAP development and a passion for building scalable, high-performance solutions that support Finance & Accounting and industry-specific processes. You will play a key role in enhancing our SAP landscape through innovative and efficient technical solutions. **Responsibilities:** + Design, develop, and maintain high-quality ABAP programs that meet business and technical requirements. + Collaborate with functional teams and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions. + Translate complex business processes into efficient ABAP code and technical designs. + Optimize existing ABAP code for performance, scalability, and maintainability. + Conduct unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure the reliability of ABAP developments. + Support integration of ABAP solutions with other SAP modules and third-party systems. + Document technical specifications, development processes, and user manuals. + Stay current with SAP technologies, tools, and best practices to continuously improve development standards. + Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers when needed. + Ensure compliance with internal development standards and external regulatory requirements. + Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and automation of development processes. **Qualifications:** + 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development. + Strong knowledge of Core ABAP including Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms (SAPScript/SmartForms/Adobe), and Data Dictionary. + Experience with ABAP Objects, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and ALV reporting. + Familiarity with SAP modules such as FICO, MM, or SD and their integration points. + Exposure to SAP S/4HANA, CDS Views, AMDP, and OData services is a plus. + Understanding of Finance & Accounting processes and industry-specific requirements. + Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. **Salary and Other Compensation:** The annual salary for this position is between $112,500 - $132,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
