Job Description

Product Safety Labs is looking for a scientist candidate experienced in reproductive toxicology to support our team in Dayton, NJ.

Scientist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Set-up and conduct experiments in accordance with Protocol and SOP's.Efficiently carry out procedures necessary to complete each project with minimal supervision.Prepare test solutions and diets in accordance with directions.Perform Dose administration, mating procedures, c-section and fetal evaluations.Collect blood, urine, fecal and tissue specimens in accordance with standard operating procedures and protocols.Meticulously maintain precise records of all experiments in accordance with good laboratory practices.Assist in writing of reports.Follow all PSL safety requirements.Ability to safely wear a respirator requiredOther duties as assigned.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate would possess:

Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skillsExcellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitudeAbility to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

At least 3 years of experience in reproductive toxicology or equivalent invivo background.Bachelor's degree in laboratory animal medicine, toxicology, animal science or biology is preferred, or equivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in related major)Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Dayton, New Jersey are encouraged to apply.
