Regional Office Manager Benelux
Tours Regional Office Manager Benelux EF Education First, is looking for an accomplished professional to strengthen our regional presence to lead our Tour Director Regional Office for the Benelux Region. As Manager of the Regional Office Benelux, you will lead the steady growth of an entity that combines the innovative mindset of a startup with the robust infrastructure of an established tour operator. If you are energized and inspired by the challenges of this leadership role, we want to hear from you.  The Role As Manager of the Regional Office Benelux, you will oversee a large team of freelance Tour Directors leading EF tours across Europe. You will be responsible for growing and strengthening the local Tour Director community. In this capacity you will be responsible for the sourcing, selecting, introduction, coaching and allocating Tour Directors to EF Educational Tours with the objective of consistently delivering an exceptional travel experience in line with customers’ expectations. You will also act as the local representative of EF tours in the Benelux area checking in with selected customer groups while they are in the region. You will be part of the European Regional Office Management Team and report to the Vice President of Operations for the TD Department. You will collaborate very closely with the Operations team in Zurich and the other Regional Offices across Europe to drive our overall business strategy. The position is based in central Amsterdam. For the right candidate, we are open to have the new Manager transition to the Amsterdam area after an initial period working from one of our existing Regional Offices in Europe (London, Paris, Lucerne, Madrid, Rome or Athens). You should expect to travel approximately 10% of the time.  Desired experience and qualifications:Excellent interpersonal, communication, networking, and organizational skillsProven leadership and staff management experience, including but not limited to talent acquisition, training and coaching, staff development, performance management, and workforce planningStrategic mindset whilst actively engaged to run day-to-day prioritiesStrong business acumen and entrepreneurial spiritExceptional problem-solving skills and comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentSelf-motivated individual who thrives working independently in the office while collaborating remotelyPassion for international travel and education with global cultural experienceFully proficient in English, written and spoken. Additional European languages are a requirement – with a preference for Dutch and/or FrenchTo be considered for this role, applicants must either be EU nationals or have the legal right to live and work in the European Union.
