The Opportunity
Responsible for covering Southwest Latam (Argentina, Chile, and Colombia), the Senior Medical Manager provides medical and scientific expert advice / guidance to key customers for Abbott Diabets Care products, including scientific exchange and professional relationship development with key thought leaders external experts, provide medical / scientific input into Medical Affairs strategies and commercial plans, as required including pipeline.
What You’ll Do
Provide medical & scientific knowledge, advices and guidance to key stakeholders for ADC products, including scientific exchange and professional relationship building with KOLs. In partnership with Marketing team to develop a strategy to training speakers.
Provide medical & scientific input to Medical Affairs strategies and commercial plans as required including pipeline.Support affiliate Clinical Affairs in the management of clinical studies, as appropriate.Develop and maintain in depth knowledge for ADC product(s).Reviews promotional materials of Brand Team to ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines, scientific merit, accuracy and validity and advises Brand Team on product-related activities and projects.Attends medical, professional, scientific and medico-regulatory meetings to represent ADC.Deliver scientific presentations and medical education programs to healthcare professionals and deliver training to sales forces and other departments; develop and update relevant training materials.Support affiliate Market Access team in projects for reimbursement of flash glucose monitoring and engage with important stakeholders relatedRequired Qualifications
Medical Degree, specialized on Endocrinology Diabetologist specialist (preferably) or Internal Medicine.3+ years of experience in Medical Affairs in the pharmaceutical industry.Read, write and speak English.Be a good communicator to both health professionals and consumers.Ability to work in a team in the area. Skills in communicating medical messages assertively and efficiently.
