Job Overview:
The Repair & Maintenance (R&M) Manager is responsible for leading the implementation of Weatherford’s global R&M strategy for service assets and tooling. This role focuses on standardizing operational processes, enhancing asset utilization, and introducing modern repair technologies across geozones. The R&M Manager will collaborate with multiple functions including engineering, logistics, supply chain, and asset management to deliver a lean, cost-efficient, and high-quality R&M system that aligns with the company’s global service delivery model.
Responsibilities:
Lead and enforce compliance with HSE, Security, and Corporate Governance policies across all R&M activities. Drive quality standards and continuous improvement initiatives, including participating in internal and external audits. Assess and standardize product line R&M processes globally to improve efficiency, cost control, and quality. Implement LEAN methodologies and identify multi-skilling opportunities to optimize workforce flexibility and reduce downtime. Integrate modern repair technologies in collaboration with engineering and product lines. Partner with Asset Management and Logistics to align repair schedules with operational needs and improve asset utilization. Ensure seamless, compliant movement of repaired assets back to operations. Work closely with Supply Chain to develop and maintain an effective vendor network supporting R&M activities. Maintain effective communication with stakeholders across functional areas and leadership levels. Align R&M execution with broader financial goals, collaborating with inventory and asset teams to control excess stock. Develop and coach R&M personnel to broaden their skillsets in alignment with the company’s multiskill fulfillment strategy. Support performance management, talent development, and succession planning within the R&M function. Represent the R&M function in strategic initiatives and contribute to Weatherford’s long-term operational goals.Skills:

Resilience, adaptability, and strategic thinking in dynamic environments.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Business, or a related oilfield discipline. Minimum 8 years of experience in Wireline operations or related product lines. Experience with global or multi-site R&M operations, including standardization and process harmonization. Previous experience working in or supporting manufacturing, machining, or workshop-based environments. Familiarity with ERP systems and asset tracking tools such as SAP, JD Edwards, or similar platforms. Strong understanding of supply chain, asset utilization metrics, and tool lifecycle management. Certification in LEAN, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is an advantage.#LI-MD1
