Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor specializing in infrastructure and road projects to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our construction management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial success of our projects through accurate cost estimation, budgeting, and contract management.

Prepare detailed cost estimates for infrastructure and road projectsDevelop and manage project budgets, forecasting costs throughout the project lifecycleAnalyze contract documents and prepare tender packagesNegotiate and administer contracts with contractors and suppliersPerform quantity take-offs and prepare bills of quantitiesMonitor project costs and report on variancesPrepare and analyze cost reports for project stakeholdersAssess and value variations and claimsAssist in the resolution of contractual disputesCollaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to optimize project costsStay updated on local construction regulations and standards in the UAE

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related fieldProfessional certification from a recognized institution (e.g., RICS, AACE)Minimum 10 years of experience in quantity surveying for infrastructure and road projectsExperience working in the Middle East, preferably in the UAEProficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Causeway)Strong mathematical and analytical skillsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially ExcelIn-depth knowledge of infrastructure and road construction processesFamiliarity with construction contracts and procurement processesKnowledge of local construction regulations and standards in the UAEDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsAbility to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlinesExcellent problem-solving and negotiation skills
