As a Quality Inspection Leader you will:
Lead the management and execution of multi-disciplinary quality inspection team:
E&I discipline: perform quality inspections, certificates revision, Inspection test reports (ITR) emission;
Mechanical, welding, coating and insulation disciplines: perform quality inspections, welding summary list (WSL) review and validation; NDT/painting certificates report review; ITRs emission; flange management surveillance; blowing/pipe cleaning monitoring, pressure test attendance.
Lead the Mechanical Completion Process and walk down to handover subsystems to commissioning, according to scheduling and requirements.
Lead the opening, tracking and closure of punch list points; be accountable for punch list points reduction during construction (at least 20% within 2025) and punch list points zero at shipment.
Guide, together with Avenza plant leader, the quality control organization restructuring (included creation of new team of NDT operators).
Collaborate with Avenza Quality assurance Leader to manage NCR and RCA (from Baker Hughes to contractors and from Customers to Baker Hughes).
Ensure project quality documentation is updated, followed and completed according to project standards.
Act as client’s primary point of contact for quality control-related matters ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
Collaborate with Construction Team and Engineering to ensure the Quality Control Plan is executed and client quality requirements are achieved.
Ensure the Adoption of best practice guidelines and influencing and implementing continuous improvement for processes and systems.
Supervise audits to Contractors (based on inspections outcome) to guarantee that all Project quality requirements are fully satisfied.
Monitor performance management KPI’s: punch list reduction during construction, punch list zero at shipment, Service requests (SR) aging reduction, MDR turnover support.
Promote a Culture of interdependence on HSE and Quality and ensuring the full compliance to standards and policies.
Coach the Team and take care of people competencies growth and physical and mental wellbeing.
Be a key agent on Cultural Transformation, fostering Diversity, Inclusion and sense of belonging.
Collaborate with Schools/Universities in the view of talent development (including creation of ITS course for quality inspectors).
Create a positive and collaborative environment with colleagues, internal functions and Customer, which enables team mates to perform at their best.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will have:
Bachelor's degree within STEM Disciplines.
At least 7 years of experience in manufacturing/construction environment/Customer sites/project quality management, within min.3-5 years in Quality.
Fluency in Italian and English languages
Any recognized Problem Solving training certificate (Lean, KT, Q.Tools, etc.)
Experience in Leading people (more than 5).
Understanding of Process approach and QMS.
Ability to manage conflicts and negotiations.
Experience with Customer relation
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
