The BAE Systems site in York, Pennsylvania is seeking a Quality Engineer in support of Combat Mission Systems operations on the 1st Shift. In this role as a Quality Engineer, you will develop, modify, apply, and maintain quality evaluation and control systems and protocols in a fast paced, heavy manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for ensuring requirements are met throughout the assembly and final operations processes on the AMPV Value Stream. Please note: This position supports the 1st Shift, 6 AM to 3:30 M, on a 9/80 schedule. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + Typically requires a Bachelors degree in an engineering or technical discipline with at least two (2) years of related experience, or the overall equivalent; + Requires a solid understanding of Quality Assurance / Quality Control fundamentals and principles; + Experience operating within ISO 9001 standards; + Strong background in problem solving techniques and analysis (A3, DMAIC, etc); + Proficiency in standard and industry related software including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database applications; + Highly effective written and verbal communication skills; + Able to support 1st Shift. **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Knowledge of IUID requirements per MIL-STD-130N; + Experience working in a quality program in support of government contracts, preferably DoD, DFARS; + Experience conducting layered process audits; + Experience with TipQA software and I-Guides software. **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $70735 - $120250 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
