This position is in Cargill’s food and bioindustrial business, where manufacturers, retailers, and foodservice companies rely on us to consistently deliver the products and services they need, and use our technical expertise and market knowledge to develop innovative products.
Job Purpose and ImpactThe Purchase Execution Representative will oversee the reception of materials and products from multiple vendors and parties, store items in the appropriate areas, log inventory levels and retrieve orders for shipping as part of the company's production and warehouse team. In this role, you will coordinate all aspects of the business for the local operation to ensure efficient operations.
Key AccountabilitiesPurchase order handling in our ERP systemArrange transport to our warehouses in Belgium and the UKWork closely with corporate support functions, operations and warehouse teams to follow up on receiving goods, shipments and tracking orders while identifying issues or concernsHandling requests of sales back-office regarding purchased goodsChecking purchase invoicesOrganizing and coordinating repack ordersKeeping our purchase related masterdata up-to-date in our ERP systemSupplier complaints handlingMonitoring and follow-up KPIsCoordinate with supply planning team to maintain appropriate stocking levels.Develop and maintain reports, spreadsheets and inventory control programs, interpreting data and communicating results in an easy to understand way.Handle complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.Other duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma, secondary education level or equivalentConfirmed experience with spreadsheet and word processing applicationsGood communication skills in English, both written and verbalAbility to distinguish main and secondary issues and to keep a good overviewMinimum of four years of related work experienceKnowledge of Dutch is an assetOther minimum qualifications may applyOur Offer
