Job Description

Responsible for project technical and delivery on control and electrical systems through the planning, design, implementation, testing and commissioning phases. Work with project managers/business lead on planning,, budget and scope.

On specific projects, may oversee a team of engineers in the execution of project delivery, which includes design, implementation, testing and customer-site commissioning.

Your Responsibilities:

Overview

Technical and project engineering responsibility for projects.

Develop and commission control system projects by performing engineering application and programing specifications.

Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial plants.

Functional

Provide updates to project manager and Engineering Team Leader about status of activities, Measurements.

Develop technical standards and procedures within the project context.

Develop into an expert.

Contribute to project review process and give technical guidance on project related matters.

May work on project cost estimates and proposals.

Interpersonal

Might serve as the primary contact with the customer for assigned projects.

An environment conducive to successful team interaction.

Coaching

Depending on project complexity, may lead a team comprising of engineering staff of multiple levels of experience and responsibility.

Coach junior engineers.

Business

Work with project manager to lead technical execution for complex projects.

Meet project schedule, engineering hour budgets, and customer satisfaction targets.

Build partnerships at a technical level of main customers.

Must be commercially aware of the growth of selecting and providing the project design and deliverables.

May present and develop technical aspects of sales proposals to customers.

Follow all applicable corporate, company, governmental and regulatory procedures for this position.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Typically five to ten years' experience in Electrical, Control and Automation projects, which includes designing, consulting, implementing and commissioning.

Typically have broad application/technical knowledge relevant to assigned business team.

Must understand industrial control systems (preferably Rockwell Automation solutions), IT/OT infrastructure, MES.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

Experience working in complex EPC and Semi-Conductor are advantageous.

Can work in a many-sided team.

Experience with Project, and Visio.

Experience aggregating data in Excel with pivot tables or LOOKUPs.
