Job Description
The Project Engineer - Industrialization, supports the introduction of new products to the manufacturing facility following the Rockwell Automation Common Product Development (CPD) processes. You will work with Design and Manufacturing Engineering teams to ensure optimum product and process design for manufacturability. You will develop and process associated documentation, estimates manufacturing cost, and initiates execution of prototype and pilot activities. You will work on a variety of issues requiring the evaluation of identifiable factors to determine the best solution. You may lead small special project teams within or external to the Industrialization group. You will report to our Industrialization Manager
Your Responsibilities:Serve as the Industrialization representative, in all phases, on NPI/Continuation Engineering project teams.Collaborate with design team to transition PCBA from development to manufacturing and work with in defining design for assembly guidelines.Develop and update the Manufacturing Specification Design PlanIdentify assembly equipment, tooling, and fixture requirements.
