Key job responsibilities
Conference Coordination
- Coordinate logistics for 3-4 internal conferences annually, following established program guidelines
- Create project plans with clear milestones, deliverables, and stakeholder responsibilities
- Manage conference registration, scheduling, and speaker coordination
- Work with presenters to ensure content aligns with strategic themes and organizational goals
- Track and report on conference attendance, engagement metrics, and participant feedback
- Identify and resolve logistical blockers to ensure smooth event execution

Podcast Production
- Execute production of the organization's internal podcast series according to established content calendar
- Coordinate schedules with hosts, guests, and production resources
- Draft episode outlines and talking points that clearly communicate organizational priorities
- Manage technical aspects of recording, editing, and distribution per established workflows
- Track and analyze listener metrics to identify topics resonating with the audience
- Document production processes and maintain content archive for future reference

Strategic Communications Support
- Develop communication materials that clearly translate strategic initiatives into actionable information
- Support cross-functional project teams by creating consistent messaging for their initiatives
- Manage communication project schedules and milestones
- Identify communication gaps and recommend process improvements
- Collect and analyze feedback on communication effectiveness
- Maintain documentation of communication plans, templates, and best practices


A day in the life
Your morning begins reviewing metrics from last month's podcast while preparing for a meeting with the Director of Region Reliability to refine key messages for her upcoming conference keynote. You'll spend an hour coordinating with speakers for next month's strategic all-hands, ensuring their presentations align with organizational priorities.

After lunch, you head to the studio to direct and record a podcast episode featuring team leaders discussing a new initiative. You guide the conversation to ensure it balances strategic clarity with engaging storytelling. Later, you'll meet with the events team to finalize logistics for an upcoming conference, making decisions on room layouts and technical requirements.

Before wrapping up, you analyze recent engagement data and employee feedback, identifying opportunities to refine your communication approach. Throughout the day, you serve as the bridge between leadership strategy and employee understanding, transforming complex concepts into clear, compelling content that drives organizational alignment.
