Professional Education Associate - Hybrid

The Medical Education Associate on Stryker’s Trauma Medical Education Team plays a critical role in the planning and execution of national medical education events and sales training.  You will be working alongside leading professionals in the Orthopaedic trauma community.  This entry-level position focuses on event logistics such as site selection, equipment management, travel coordination, vendor communications, branding support, and budget tracking.   The position will work closely with the National Education Program Manager.   All applicants must be comfortable in an OR/Cadaveric lab setting. 

You will receive best in class product training to help you understand the product segment and how Stryker Trauma leading services and products.   This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to gain hands-on experience in both the marketing and medical education sides of the healthcare industry, with clear potential for growth into more senior medical education or marketing roles

This position is Hybrid in Mahwah, NJ.

What you will do:

Manage logistics such as transportation, meals, signage, name badges, and branded event materials for both national medical events and sales training.Support faculty and attendee communications related to logistics and travel itineraries.Ensure all logistical planning is compliant with AdvaMed Code of Ethics and healthcare regulations.Track event costs and support invoice processing to maintain budget accuracy.Provide on-site support for cadaveric medical education events that take place around the country.  Some programs require early starts, late end times and some weekend work. Ensure that all presentation material is properly vetted and approved byServe as a key team member to support event execution from planning to post-event evaluation.Maintain and organize event materials, shipping schedules, and branding assets.Assist in compiling event performance reports and feedback for continuous improvement.Assist the Sales Enablement team with training event planning, registration, hotel sourcing, rooming list and grading. Develop relationships with key stakeholders in marketing & sales to help promote medical education programs and events. Assist obtaining legal approval on presentation materials.  Must be detail oriented and well organized with strong time management skills.30-40% travel with some early morning, late nights and weekend work.

What you will need:

Required:

Bachelor’s degree required 0+ years of work experience required 

Preferred:

1-3 years medical education experience is preferred1-3 years event planning experience preferredMarketing AND/OR tradeshow experience preferred

PHYSICAL/SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:

May involve prolonged periods of stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, sitting, standing, and/or crawling as appropriate.

May be required to move equipment up to 50 pounds, reach, push, or pull, to accomplish job accountabilities.

Coordination of eye, hand, and/or foot movement with an ability to grasp by hand and meet cognitive demands to include visual and auditory discrimination/memory, reading ability, and memory retention ability.

Harassment training required and provided.

Bloodborne pathogen and radiation safety training required and provided.

$58,700- 106,200 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
