What you will do-
Develop and implement production build plans by considering sales order priorities, material availability, cost, and production capacity. Partner with Production leadership to maximize output and labor of respective product line(s).
Working under moderate supervision, this position has frequent use and/or application of industry principles, theories, and concepts of production planning and requires general knowledge of industry standards.
Analyze sales orders within the planning lead time to ensure material is available to fulfill scheduled ordersMaintain sales order due dates to align with expected material availability and capacity limitationsCollaborate with Sales Support teams for revised priorities and rescheduling if orders are not fulfilled within the appropriate time frameEnsure customer delivery requirements are metCollaborate with Operations Project Managers and Material Coordinators to effectively manage engineering change implementations on the production linesActively participate in material allocations while collaborating with Sales and IBP (Integrated Business Planning)Perform analysis that highlights trends, drivers, and issues with Production planningParticipate in counter measures to resolve issuesParticipate as a planning representative on the cross-functional project teamsUtilize planning tools to effectively and efficiently create tactical inventory and supply solutionsSupport Production Supervisor and Leads in root-cause analysis activities related to productionPerform other related duties as assignedWhat you need-
Bachelor's degree - required2 years of relevant experience - requiredAPICS Certification - preferredQAD / SAP experience and application - preferredAdvanced skill level required for Excel and Word. Intermediate skills required for PowerPointDemonstrated planning, analytical, attention to detail, and organizational skillsExhibits positive people skills, and a team approach to problem solvingBusiness System application knowledge in Sales Order management, Production Scheduling, Inventory Control, ERP / MRP, and ProcurementEffective written and oral communication skills$60,100.00 - $121,600.00 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location.
