ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:

Univision Television Group, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ seeks a full-time Production Assistant to assist with duties pertaining to the production of a live newscast.

YOUR DAY-DAY:

Assisting Producers and editing News materialWork with technical staff to satisfy graphic needs for shows, under supervision of Producer, Director, and Technical DirectorPlan and execute any required pre-production elementsAssist the Commercial Production team with client creativeAid in the production of our community showPerform other duties as assigned including on camera work

YOU HAVE:

College degree or trade school certification is preferred.High School Diploma required.Bilingual in Spanish and English.Write news content, edit video material, and organize rundowns.Social Media knowledge.Knowledge of video production or broadcast environment is preferred.Proficient in live studio operations.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.Strong work ethic, positive attitude and leadership qualities with the ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities.Ability to work non-traditional hours, weekends, holidays, and early shifts.Ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environment.Must have a valid Arizona driver’s license and a good driving record.
