The Oracle Communications Global Industries Unit is a leading provider of Business Support Systems (BSS) and Operations Support Systems (OSS) to the communications market. These systems automate the ordering, monetization, service configuration & deployment processes enabling service providers to rapidly deploy new innovative services. CGIU has a customer base that includes market leading global Tier 1 CSPs and we are looking to expand even further.
The Product Manager acts as the central resource and driving force for the strategy, requirements, definition, test and marketing of Product(s) as they move from conception to GA to EOL. This role is critical to the Product strategy & roadmap, and involves researching & defining the key Product requirements and functional design.
This posting is for a Product Management position with a focus on the Oracle Communications Monetization (Billing, Charging, and Mediation)
Applicant must have 3-5+ years of professional IT experience with minimum 3 years of experience of working in product management.
The applicant should demonstrate:
Product Management experience (or equivalent)Technical experience, either software development or professional services
Excellent Communications domain knowledge
Strong experience in Oracle Communications Applications Products, particularly Billing and Revenue Management, Elastic Charging Engine, and Offline Mediation controller
Knowledge of the TM Forum Open APIs and Open Digital Architecture (ODA) a plus.
Ability to work closely with Development Teams for the execution and delivery of the Product Roadmap, including playing the SAFe Product Owner role
Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and related tools (Jira, Confluence)
Ability to work with Customers, Sales, Support, Product Management, Partners and in a virtual team
Ability to be a Product evangelist with Customers – serve as a senior Product leader both internally at Oracle and externally
Experience with Billing, Revenue Management, and/or Charging products
Knowledge in monetization product catalogs is also a benefit.
Knowledge of network technologies and services, B2C/B2B/B2B2X service domains, cloud native architectures, advanced analytics and AI/ML
