We are seeking a Product Manager for our high-power frequency converter products in the iC7-Automation series of industrial high-performance products. In this role, you will manage a newly released product that is in its most exciting lifecycle phase, with a high projected growth in the coming years.
As a Product Manager, you will oversee the product roadmap and be the main representative for the product towards the sales teams and key customers. You will collaborate with other iC7-Automation product areas to formulate and communicate the value of the product.
The Product Manager plays a key role in guiding the sales teams in applying the product in different applications across key industries, understanding needs, gathering feedback and improvement suggestions, and helping to prioritize these for the development teams.
Your contribution will be highly important to the sales growth and profitability of the product.
The role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a good understanding of the drives market and/or drive applications.
Job ResponsibilitiesAreas of Responsibilities
Manages the high-power iC7-Automation frequency converters and product communication for the products (e.g., product notes). Supports sales teams in ramping up the product volumes and winning new important accounts. Owns the product roadmap together with the Product Owner for the iC7-Automation frequency converters. Owns the product value propositions and the communication of these. Defines global reference pricing together with the pricing team. Creates and communicates the product vision and strategy to all stakeholders.
Key Tasks
You are the visible manager of the iC7-Automation high-power frequency converters. Engage with customers to gather insights and translate needs into product features. Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with business objectives. Manage product communication during new releases or product changes, for example, by issuing product notes. Be part of release and launch planning for new product releases. Work with marketing functions on formulating and communicating the product values. Be part of different product development efforts and contribute with your experience to making the right selections and choices Support the creation of product and segment portfolio value propositions and argumentation together with the business development teams.
