Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of the purchasing and logistics-related activities in the Procurement function to support the businesses. Each day, you will execute assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by delivering and participating in training programs as required to ensure compliance and to foster professional development. The work model for the role is: #LI-hybridThis role is contributing to the Procurement & Logistics department in the Process Automation Energy Industries Division in Spain. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tExecuting purchasing and logistics strategies to support the business by optimizing costs, quality, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products.•\tDesigning and implementing plans and effective strategies for local sourcing of products/materials to reach business targets.•\tSupporting in implementing effective local sourcing strategies in line with business strategy to meet current and future business requirements.•\tApplying and implementing procurement standards, tools, and processes in your area of responsibility to secure quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability.You will join a friendly, dynamic and trustable team, where you will be able to thrive.
Qualifications for the role\tYou enjoy working with SAP and the Energies market\tYou have 3 years of experience in Purchasing or Supply Chain Manager in Energies or automation business.(It will be considered a plus having experience working as engineer with electrical substations or Automation)\tPossess an enhanced knowledge of e-auction, SAP Ariba, Smart Buy and Readsoft\tYou are passionate about team work, problem solving and negotiation.\tProven experience of technical equipment and services purchasing in the industrial market.\tYou are at ease communicating in Spanish and English.\tYou hold current work VISA valid in Spain
