Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will lead our procurement department, driving strategic sourcing initiatives and optimizing our supply chain processes to support the organization's goals and objectives.
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectivesLead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvementManage the entire procurement lifecycle, from supplier selection to contract negotiation and vendor relationship managementAnalyze market trends, conduct cost analyses, and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvementsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop effective procurement solutionsEnsure compliance with local and international procurement regulations and company policiesOversee the implementation and optimization of procurement systems and technologiesDevelop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholdersMonitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track procurement effectiveness and efficiencyStay informed about industry trends and best practices to drive innovation in procurement processesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related fieldMinimum 5-7 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with a proven track record in a leadership roleProfessional certification such as CPSM, CPM, or CSCP preferredStrong expertise in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and vendor relationship managementProficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisionsOutstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levelsDemonstrated experience in cost analysis and reduction strategiesIn-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, industry trends, and market dynamicsFamiliarity with local and international procurement regulationsExperience managing and mentoring procurement teamsStrong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyInternational procurement experience preferredAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentFluency in English required; Arabic language skills highly desirableAdditional InformationAbout AECOM
