Job Description

Process Sciences Team supports biologics manufacturing in the following areas: Upstream Sciences, Downstream Sciences, Data Analytics, Manufacturing Support, Process Validation and Process Solutions

Job Description

Lead a team of 40-60 analysts, including group leaders and supervisors, in serving our client within Process SciencesLead a team involved in multiple scopes of work across the Process Sciences department including Upstream Sciences, Downstream Sciences, , Data Analytics, Manufacturing Support, Process Validation and Process Solutions oversight.Lead a team of group leaders and trainers in laboratory-Scale Cell Culture studies including characterization of cell banks and manufacturing processesDevelop team members through operational excellence and standardization of processesCultivate teamwork and build continued morale through engaging and hands on leadership.Coordinate with a broader scientific team to align on lab activities and process. Comply with all GxP standards, GHS policies, and current written procedures and protocols. Work in a fast-paced lab environment.Balance multiple projects and tasks, prioritize and execute them independently, while communicating with all impacted parties. Lead teams, schedules, and train employees in client environmentOrganize technical resources and staff to accomplish client goals within given deadlinesEnsure adherence to highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operationsEnsure coverage and maximizes performance through management operating system to gain efficienciesStays current science and technology and consults knowledgeably with clientsEnsure adherence to highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operationsEnsure coverage and performance

Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate would possess:

Scientific background with hands on Biologics Process Science experience including Cell Banking, Production, Purification or related manufacturing technologiesStrong dynamic leadership skillsDemonstrate strong client service skills, teamwork, project management and collaborationStrong computer, scientific, and organizational skillsExcellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitudeAbility to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, pharmaceutical science, or other science related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience4+ years of Process Sciences  and or cell banking work4+ years of Leadership experienceAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

Working schedule will be Mon-Fri 8:00am to 5:00pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer, NY are encouraged to apply.
