AECOM is seeking a driven professional to lead pursuit and bid strategies for the Water and Program Management sector in NSW & ACT. You’ll help identify and position for key opportunities, support the development of capture plans with senior leaders, and drive high-quality bid submissions. From pre-positioning to post-submission, you’ll play a crucial role in securing meaningful work for our team. This is your chance to shape AECOM’s success in a dynamic, high-impact role. Ready to make an impact? **What will a day in this role look like:** You will be an energetic team player with an eye for detail and a passion for collaboration, clear communication and creativity. You will bring these traits to: + Help identify, monitor, and support Water + PgM pipeline pursuits across NSW & ACT, ensuring strong positioning before bidding. + Help develop and execute capture plans in collaboration with NSW & ACT WAT + PgM leaders, marketing advisers, and pursuit managers. + Lead pre-positioning, bid development, submission, and post-submission activities, including scheduling and facilitating workshops. + Contribute to winning bid strategies, high-quality submissions, and maintain pursuit collateral with marketing advisers. **Qualifications** The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don’t tick all the boxes you could still be a perfect fit for this role. Please apply, all applications will be considered. **What are we looking for from you?** + Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Communications, Journalism, or related field with 8+ years of experience. + Proven ability to manage complex projects, lead teams, navigate corporate governance frameworks and coordinate stakeholders in high-pressure environments. + Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to tailor responses to client needs, with a competitive mindset. + High attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and experience with CRM platforms like Salesforce. **Additional Information** \#Work180 AECOM acknowledges the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the lands on which we, our clients and our communities live and work around Australia.
