Principal Engineer - IT Quality & Assurance
What can you expect?
3+ years’ experience in the IT industry Demonstrable experience of working on successful test programs on enterprise scale applications or projects.Knowledge of Insurance domainShould be familiar with Agile Scrum Process.Understanding Business requirements (Functional) and identifying scenarios for Functional TestingShould have excellent ability to design Functional and UI test scripts and scenarios ensuring proper coverage of the business requirement.Regression test for the technical upgrades, such as major application server upgrade, database server upgrade or hardware upgrade.Investigate user problems and needs, identify their source, and determine possible solutions.Document testing problems and resolutions for future reference, maintain defect logs and issue logs wherever applicableParticipate in the development of technical documentation and user manuals wherever assignedCommunicate effectively with team members and all the stakeholders of the projectIdentify problem areas and suggest improvementsIdentify areas, which are suitable for automationGuide and mentor new joiners and assist team members in resolving queriesShould have good analytical and logical skillsShould have good testing and test results reporting skills. Ability to test applications from user requirements and/or functional specifications and/or designShould have hands on experience in automation testingShould be able to create and execute SQL queriesShould have knowledge of API testingShould be a team player with good interpersonal skillsAbility to learn and support new applications and systemsWhat is in it for you?
