We will also value detail-oriented people. **Key Responsibilities:** + Conduct the design and implementation of data solutions using Power BI Service. + Oversee the development of data models to ensure efficient and effective data analysis. + Provide expertise in DAX to create complex calculations and measures. + Utilize MS Power BI to develop interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards. + Ensure data integrity and accuracy through robust database management and SQL queries. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. + Optimize data models and reports for performance and scalability. + Conduct regular reviews and updates of data models to align with evolving business needs. + Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Power BI and data analytics. + Contribute to the development of data governance policies and procedures. + Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Power BI-related issues. + Communicate effectively with stakeholders to present data insights and recommendations. **Necessary skills and experience required:** + Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Computer Science, or a related field. + Proven experience of 5 to 8 years in supporting Actuarial systems. + Strong proficiency in SQL Server, including query optimization, performance tuning, and data extraction. + Experience working with Git for version control, managing code repositories, and collaborating with the development team. + Proficiency in Excel VBA for developing macros and automation of Actuarial processes. + Familiarity with ResQ or other similar actuarial software for insurance liability analysis and scenario modeling. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues in the Actuarial systems.. + Proactive mindset and ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments simultaneously. + Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and system troubleshooting. + Knowledge of other programming languages such as Python or R is a plus. + Advanced level of English. **Why Cognizant?** + A career in one of the largest and fastest growing IT services providers worldwide. + Ongoing support and funding with training and development plans. + Opportunity to work for leading global companies. + Our work environment is diverse, collaborative and inclusive.
