Plant Logistics Manager

Manpower Engineering is partnering with a well-established and successfully industrial equipment manufacturer that is currently hiring for a Plant Logistics Manager who will be responsible for the internal plant logistics and material flow, master scheduling, materials buying/ planning, inventory management and control, and materials strategy.

 

Job Title: Plant Logistics Manager

Location: Benson, MN

Pay Range: $150,000-180,000 + 15% Bonus

 

What’s the Job?

Lead scheduling, procurement, Inventory Control, Inbound logistics and purchased part material planning. Align logistics strategy with production and supply chain planning to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods. Monitor and optimize inventory levels using ERP systems to avoid production delays or excess holding costs. Analyze logistics performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with procurement, production, and customer service teams to streamline the supply chain. Work closely with Plant Management to help develop and implement processes that improve inventory

 

What’s Needed?

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Engineering disciplines strongly preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment that has embraced Lean concepts, MRP manufacturing practices, and progressive supplier relationships. Experience working with complex made to order products. Experience utilizing SAP. Experience with visual management systems.
