We're seeking a Operations Manager to play an integral role within our contract, delivering a first-class service and achieving fantastic results.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
\n\nManaging day to day operational activities to fulfil customer requirements OTIF to specification\nAdherence to compliance both internal and external regulatory bodies\nMaintain and promote H&S culture across the site\nControl and monitor IT tools such as RP,BY, APOS\nMonitor agreed resource level across site in line with budgets, and productivity targets\nManage and enhance performance management\nEngage with Union to facilitate collaboration between management and colleagues throughout the operation to deliver the goals\nPlanning corrective action meetings and preparing response to audits\nSupport CSR initiatives across site\nEnsure effective communication processes are established for both internal and external customers\nReview, develop and maintain/improve operational processes in line with DfT guidelines\nRecord and proactively manage KPI's to drive continuous improvement in the service level and cost performance to AWC\nWork closely with H&S and Food technical team to ensure all standards of food safety are followed\nLiaise with Food Technical team on safety audits and support implementation plans\nWork towards minimising impact on train delays due to operational process error\nMaintain and deliver PI initiatives to help site achieve commercial goals\nResponsible for delivery of financial and non-financial KPIs and Gainshare targets for the site\nBudget management\nCarry out HR functions as required\nLead and support employee engagement initiatives\nTrain and Develop operations team from management to colleague\nResponsble for sickness/absence management. Working towards site KPIs and managing within set HR guidelines\n\n\n
