Job Description
Position Summary
The Proposal Consultant is a commercial/technical resource for Rockwell Automation technology, products, services, and solutions within their area(s) of expertise, capable of articulating value, estimations, and positioning of benefits of portfolio to customers. They deliver and manage commercial offer, presales support, costing, and approvals. They are responsible for all bid offer activities for a specific range of products, services and/or solutions within a defined geography. They lead standardization efforts of proposals, tools and processes for designated product, service, or solution. Demonstrate the ability to expand the scope of services requested by incorporating the full portfolio of Rockwell Automation offerings.
In this position you will report to the Proposal Manager, Lifecycle Services and you will be based in São Paulo – SP.
Your Responsibilities:
Employ commercial and technical skills while tapping your creative side to maximize Rockwell profit and growth opportunitiesFilter opportunities to pursue, and provide input to increasing successes through our Win Strategy processNegotiate internally and externally using a sound understanding of cost, value, and profit margin to establish pricing with approvalsApprove costs, pricing, margins, and other commercial terms within your delegation of authorityConvincingly explain our value message and business models in many scenarios and situations, including through direct sales channels or through distributors.Support proposals with customers while instilling confidence in the proposed solutionFollow all applicable corporate, company, governmental, and regulatory procedures for this positionEngage with sales and customers to follow up on proposalsManage project reviews including risk analysisThe Essentials - You Will Have:
Bachelor degree in Engineering or similarAbility to travel up to 10% to customer sites in Brazil for proposal-related responsibilities5+ years related experience in an industrial environment (engineering, projects, maintenance, support)Upper intermediate English levelKnowledge of OT Network implementation and OT Virtualization and/or OT CybersecurityThe Preferred - You Might Also Have:
