The NAS General Ledger Associate Consultant manages the General Ledger Interface mapping and configuration for new and existing U.S. based payroll clients (business-to-business). As the subject matter expert, the GL Implementation Consultant is responsible for the analysis of the client's chart of accounts and mapping requirements, configuration of the application, and the successful file output based on client needs.
Determine functional (configuration) and technical (output file layout) design to implement solutions.
Coordinate company structure decisions to meet payroll, time and attendance and GL requirements.
Completes complex ADP GL projects as assigned, utilizing defined team processes, tools, and deliverables to implement functional design solutions for various implementation project tasks.
Takes the lead on company structure discussions to ensure client's GL, payroll and time and attendance reporting requirements are all met. Determines required flow of data and impact to all systems.
Executes standard processes and procedures, while partnering with offshore teams, Payroll Implementation Associates and Enterprise eTIME associates to complete the tasks required in creating the programming and setup, configuring software and mainframe to pass required fields, requesting, balancing, and validating ADP GL test output, obtaining client approval of test files and supporting go live activities.
Follows all Implementation processes and procedures. Provide input on regular ADP GL processes.
PRODUCT / TECHNICAL SKILLS
Fluent in English (verbal and written)
Advanced Facilitation skills
Advanced knowledge in use of Microsoft Office Tools and its iterations, especially Excel
Basic knowledge of math, ability to work with numbers.
Proficient in PC navigation
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous Payroll experience, especially ADP Payroll products
Experience with ADP GL or ADPGLI
Candidate must possess at least High School Diploma, Vocational Diploma/Short Court Coursed Certificate, bachelors degree or equivalent in experience.
At least 1-3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
Proven experience with high volume clients, problem resolution, technical background, and client service oriented.
Project management skills, time management and detail oriented.
Ability to understand client expectations and provide excellent service to fulfill client expectations.
Collaborating effectively with colleagues and clients to achieve and surpass shared goals.
