What You'll Do

As a (Senior) Specialist, you will work closely with and report to the People Strategy & Projects Director, developing and supporting the balanced growth of the Middle East Pyramid and supporting Middle East People Leadership with decision making in key areas. As part of this, you will work closely with different Functions withing the People team, including the Recruiting team.


You will be responsible for:

 

Supporting the medium- and long-term balanced growth of the Middle East Pyramid, overall and in its different Offices (e.g., Dubai, Riyadh, Doha), including sizing and directing recruiting targets for the near futureConducting analytics on key People data, drawing insights that inform decision making on future ME Pyramid Growth e.g., analyzing attrition trends by type and cohort, benchmarking against other Systems and building recommendations for our Leadership TeamSupporting the well-functioning of the Recruiting Team by:Provide timely (e.g., weekly, monthly, quarterly) reports to the Recruiting Team and People Leadership to support recruiting and People prioritiesAnalyzing effectiveness and efficiency of recruiting processes and policies, e.g. effectiveness of various recruiting channels, interviewer capabilities, AI tools efficiency, etc.Producing executive-quality quantitative analyses and interactive dashboards to enable Recruiting and People Leadership stakeholders to spotlight patterns, trends, and formulate hypotheses in recruitmentCollaborating with the core Recruiting team to standardize new and maintain existing shared data elements, and to establish consistent data definitions for core recruiting systemsAnalyzing external recruiting data, e.g. key talent sources for our main competitors and identify new data sources and methods to improve data mining and analysis

 
YOU’RE GOOD AT

You have a sharp and analytical mind, are able to draw insights from complex and ambiguous data, and are able to effectively articulate strategic proposals to senior stakeholdersYou feel comfortable to perform and deliver detailed quantitative (i.e., gap analyses, analyze historical trends, draw insights from performance ratios) analyses, including making future forecasts given historical observed trendsYou are autonomous, able to work with ambiguity and are self-motivated. You have strong self-starter skills and like to “get things done”You are structured, able to multi-task on different projects under tight timeframes, and to convey this structure to the different stakeholders you are working withYou are a quick learner and drive your personal education about new topics – especially those pertaining to People Analytics, Recruiting Analytics and Capacity Planning

What You'll Bring

You have a Masters degree or equivalent and minimum of 4-5-year professional experience in a relevant People / HR field. Previous experience in a BCG Consulting equivalent field is a plus.Strong understanding of People-related concepts and technologies is a plus.You have strong knowledge in Excel and are able to design spreadsheet analyses (pivot tables, conditional formulas, vlookup, etc.) as well as conduct detailed analyses.You have experience working with Alteryx and Tableau and other database management systems.You are at ease with digital collaboration tools (Slack, SharePoint).

Who You'll Work With

You will be reporting to the People Strategy and Projects Director in the BCG Middle East System and have frequent interactions with the ME Recruiting Senior Manager. You will be regularly interacting with ME People Leadership, local People Business Support functions and global HR/People teams.
