**Summary:**
Meta is seeking an experienced Construction Manager-Field Operations to join our Data Center Design, Engineering & Construction Team. This position will support the Delivery Director and Campus Construction Managers throughout the construction phase across all general contractors. Our data centers are the foundation upon which our rapidly scaling infrastructure efficiently operates and upon which our innovative services are delivered. Building and operating data centers the "right" way is synonymous with ensuring high uptime, capacity availability and capital conservation. The data center engineering team thinks from chip to chiller (or electrical substation), determining configurations and ensuring maximum efficiency of our compute infrastructure.
**Required Skills:**
Mega-Site Construction Manager - Field Operations Responsibilities:
1. Support the project Delivery Director and Campus Construction Managers as required on critical areas and issues as they arise, i.e.: material management storage program, project and site logistics
2. Develop strategies and coordinate across general contractor (GC) activities in support campus construction
3. Coordinate partial handover of buildings to support early commissioning activities, and manage ongoing interfaces between GC’s and Operations
4. Support the construction, commissioning, and turnover of a Data Center within a campus program
5. Manage the cost change process and negotiate best pricing
6. Manage the schedule and associated risks to ensure reliable and predictable turnover dates
7. Manage warranty and tenant improvement work in the live environment when/as necessary
8. Communicate upward regarding the status and risks of the project
9. Negotiate vendor and contractor contracts and purchase orders as needed
10. Mitigate risk for the project through pre-planning, innovative planning, and partnership
11. Develop cost savings solutions and identify project savings/underruns early
12. Partner with the General Contractor and other Vendors to build collaborative relationships
13. Partner with Internal Cross Functional Partners to build collaborative relationships
14. Coordinate needs and asks with the Procurement/Sourcing group(s) to support the needs of the Project
15. Support the pre-construction efforts for upcoming projects
16. Promote prefabrication strategies
17. Support the development of Capital Project Budgets and Constructions ROMs
18. Support the Campus Construction Manager with the campus-wide book of work including contractor, designer, and vendor management
19. Support the on-site inspection process to ensure a zero punch-list and an expeditious turnover to FacOps
20. Support the Regional Construction Operations Manager in the management of the regional book of work including contractor, designer, and vendor management
21. Support the local DC Ops team and other cross-functional departments as needed
22. Promote and model an attitude of continuous improvement, partnership, and teamwork in behaviors and communications
23. Support and lead an industry leading safety program
24. Promote and model an attitude of openness to giving, seeking, and receiving 360-degree feedback
25. 10% travel to headquarters and other Meta sites.
26. Respond on an as-needed basis to emergencies
**Minimum Qualifications:**

27. 12+ years of work experience in the construction management industry
28. Multi-Project experience in large scale construction management, mission critical, infrastructure, and or data center construction
29. General knowledge of civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical systems
30. Knowledge of capital budget management and contract administration
31. Negotiation skills and experience providing solutions to problems

32. Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, may consider equivalent experience
33. Knowledge of industry standards, building codes and safety standards including fire protection regulations
34. LEAN Construction knowledge and application of those tools
35. Familiar with P6
36. Procore and eBuilder software experience
37. BIM 360 and Bluebeam software experience
38. Building Environment Accreditations (i.e. LEED, SITES, TRUE, WELL)
39. Proficient working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google workspace
**Public Compensation:**
$144,000/year to $201,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
