We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable professional to lead our Strategic Activities in Oncology Medical Affairs.
Key Responsibilities
Collaboration: Work closely with market access, policy, regulatory, and marketing teams, as well as Oncology Medical Advisors in Croatia and Slovenia, and the Regional Oncology Medical Team.Country Oncology Medical Affairs Plan (CMAP): Develop and execute the CMAP in alignment with regional and global Oncology Vision & Insights (V&I) goals and strategies.Activity Identification: Identify key activities and strategies related to Oncology Indication priorities, standard of care, and healthcare environment, including reimbursement timelines.Development Areas: Prioritize and define development areas to address key scientific and medical needs and clinical care gaps.Engagement Plans: Identify scientific leaders and key decision-makers, developing tailored engagement plans.Scientific Dialogue: Conduct sustained dialogue with the scientific community, focusing on key science topics and unbiased information exchange.Group Input Meetings: Plan and execute Group Input Meetings as necessary.Education Initiatives: Assess education and data gaps, and identify needs for medical education initiatives, local data generation, and support for Investigator Initiated Study proposals.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share scientific insights and provide medical expertise for Market Access Dossiers, Patient Access Programs, and educational meetings/symposia.Formulary Development: Provide relevant scientific data for formulary and clinical guideline development.Strategic Alignment: Ensure alignment between medical activities and resource allocation in the countries.Expertise Maintenance: Maintain a high level of expertise in the Oncology therapy area and be recognized as a scientific expert internally and externally.Education Provision: Deliver balanced and updated education to internal and external partners.Required Skills
Therapy Knowledge: Deep knowledge of the therapy area/areas under responsibility.Drug Development Understanding: Proficient understanding of the drug development process, relevant diseases, therapies, and local medical practices.Ethics and Integrity: Strong commitment to ethics and integrity.Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills for managing scientific leaders and authorities.Strategic Skills: Exceptional strategic and prioritization skills.Problem-Solving: Collaborative problem-solving approach within the team.Presentation Skills: Excellent presentation skills.Leadership: Strong leadership behaviors focused on delivering value for customers, including patients.Stewardship: Strong stewardship skills.Matrix Organization: Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.Systems Understanding: Excellent understanding of core systems, tools, and metrics.Language Proficiency: Proficient in English.Education & Experience
Degree: Medical Degree (preferred), Pharmacist degree, or PhD in a life science is required.Experience: Experience in Oncology and Medical Affairs is preferred.Why Join Us?
