**Job Description** I. BASIC FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB: Performs a variety of duties assisting in the development of mechanical and electro-mechanical engineering fabrications, modifications, assemblies and components. To apply standard practices and techniques in mechanical disciplines in providing support for ongoing manufacturing, engineering and related technical projects and programs. Duties and Responsibilities: Manually remove machining imperfections from metal components.Sand, deburr, polish, grind, and clean metal parts using hand and power tools. Install a variety of hardware using a mix of hand tools, pneumatic tools, and power tools. Ability to read and use tape measures, calipers, and micrometers. Inspects parts on the shop floor and stacks parts in storage cabinets. Review and understand blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, and work instructions Performs other related duties as assigned. \#ASFS **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** High School Diploma Mechanically inclined, with good manual dexterity Ability to use basic hand tools like grinders, polishers, and belt sanders. Must be able to read and interpret mechanical fabrication, installation drawings, and follow work instructions. **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $38192 - $61108 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
