This is a full-time position based at the project site in North Vancouver. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: + Provide on-site administrative and technical management for construction project. + Responsible for the organization and direction of construction related activities within assigned areas of responsibility for multi-discipline construction project. + Quality assurance for mechanical systems including piping and mechanical equipment. + May be the primary client contact for jobsite day to day activities, or may coordinate with client’s resident representatives on jobsite activities within assigned areas of operation. + Responsibilities are to ensure assigned jobsite operations are in compliance with design/specifications, construction schedule, and quality standards. + Interface with administrative field staff, field management staff and Engineers in a coordinated effort. **Qualifications** **Qualifications** **Minimum requirements:** + Diploma/Certificate +10 years of relevant experience with engineering and construction for municipal/industrial infrastructure projects. + Project wide experience in Canada and/or North America. + Quality management system participation. + Red seal steamfitter / pipefitter. **Preferred qualifications:** + Experience with large-scale multi-discipline infrastructure projects (water / wastewater preferred, but similar industrial experience is acceptable.) + Knowledge related to water retaining structural design and construction. + Proven skills with construction coordination, inspection and interfacing with prime contractor and owner. + Coordination with engineering design disciplines related to construction activities and scope of work. + Experience with interpreting detailed design drawings and technical specifications to ensure quality standards are met. + Knowledge of relevant piping and plumbing codes and standards. **Additional Information** Sponsorship for Canadian employment authorization is not available for this position. Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
