As the MEATI Regional Channel Leader you will be responsible for ensuring adherence to the Baker Hughes and Industrial & Energy Technology (IET) Channel Partner policies, guidelines, and processes beginning at scouting, onboarding and throughout the partnership with the Channel Partners. The Regional Channel Leader will partner with the Business Units (BU) and sales team to develop MEATI regional growth strategy for the IET channel portfolio, define coverage, optimize the portfolio, and drive profitable growth.
As MEATI Regional Channel Leader, you will be responsible for:
Developing the MEATI Channel Partner growth strategy for Industrial & Energy Technology.Ensuring the commercial strategy for indirect vs direct coverage is defined and executed in the regionDeveloping direct relationship with key Channel PartnersVisiting key Channel Partners to develop solid relationships and ensure strategy is aligned.Visiting Channel Partners for site visits.Ensuring Channels Order are properly validated on a monthly basis.Collaborating with Business Unit Global Commercial Leaders and Regional Sales Directors to develop, refine, and drive coverage strategy in each region.Ensuring adherence to the Baker Hughes and IET Channel Partner policies, guidelines, and processes beginning at onboarding and throughout the partnership with the Channel Partners.Driving optimization of the channel portfolio for renewals and terminationsEnsure consistent operating rhythm and visibility to key performance indicatorsLeverage synergies across channel portfolio and maximize return on investmentDevelop and maintain in-depth knowledge Channel Partner business modelsFoster and grow relationships with strategic Channel PartnersTo be successful in this role, you will have:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.Minimum 8 years of sales or commercial experience with progressively increasing scope and responsibility.Experience with Channel Partners or Key account management.Desired Characteristics
Demonstrated experience in the management of Channel Partner relationships to gain trust, influence behaviors and outcomes, and resolve conflict; ability to establish and drive strategy with third partiesExperienced in assessing market coverage and business developmentCustomer-centric mindset; proven ability to challenge status quo and influence cross-functional and global counterparts to do what’s right for the customer and bottom lineExcellent communication skills: experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex information in an easy to understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writingConfidence / assertiveness: strong influencing skills across business functions; confidence to approach business leaders with difficult messages, defend position & drive changeExperience working in cross-functional and global business environment with sound understanding of processAdaptable/flexible: being open to change (positive or negative) in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situationsDirect and/or indirect leadership experienceFuel your passion
