Master Scheduler/ Planner

The primary role of the R&M Master Scheduler is to plan and synchronize maintenance activities for the designated R&M sites, considering the operational demands from Product Line. Master Scheduler oversees and organizes the schedules for repair and maintenance activities, ensuring the readiness of required spare parts, and deliver the on-time delivery (OTD) to the business needs. The master scheduler collaborates closely with operation managers of PL regarding activity requests such as job orders and tool orders, as well as coordinating with R&M manager and supervisor to appropriately schedule and adjust the capacity of the workshop to meet operation demand. 

                      

 

Minimum 5 years related experience in of production planning/scheduling experience in an MRP-driven environment.  Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering Diploma / Degree. Understanding of basic administration and management; Strategic planning, resource allocation, production scheduling, and coordination of people and resources. Fundamentals of Inventory Management and resource planning. Experience with MRP/ERP software preferred. Certification in maintenance management, project management, or scheduling, such as CMRP, PMP, or PMI-SP is preferred. Knowledgeable in work processes for Notification Management, Work Order Management, Maintenance planning & Scheduling. Demonstrated strong communication skills, ability to communicate at various levels within the organization. Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work as part of a team. Strategic thinker, strong analytical skills, able to synthesize considerable and complex data. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, able to work independently and under pressure. Flexible, adaptable, and responsive to change. Advanced working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

 

Travel Requirement:

This role may require domestic and potentially international travel of up to:  <10%

 

Maintains the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring that all activities are carried out ethically and in compliance with Company’s Security, Compliance & HSE policies, Management System, relevant laws, regulations, standards, and industry practices and complies with the Company’s Rules to Live By Responsible for being familiar with the Company's Quality policies and takes an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherford’s Management System  Accountable to achieve R&M Organization KPI’s and team goals from the perspective of spare parts availability, inventory control, R&M schedule, and managing operation demand. Managing the workshop spare parts requirement according to the activity demand forecast. Aggregate the activity demand forecast of the workshop sites and ensuring the spare-parts future demand is thoroughly analysed and communicated. Synchronize the operation demand with R&M workshop schedule activities (Work Order Management). Assess projected forecast review with R&M supervisor / manager to define a reliable and feasible weekly and monthly production / R&M plan. Assemble master schedule reporting regarding performance to the business plan, the shipment plan, the inventory plan, and the production plan. Follow-up on delivery progress till arrival on the required spare parts for the R&M activities in the workshop. Provide input to finance on operating plans for the sales and operations planning (S&OP) process, concerning incoming volume and capacity. Responsible for coordinating with Demand Planner(s) for the development and adherence to global demand planning process for repair and maintenance. Determine available capacity before planned orders are released. Engage in capacity management during sales and operations planning, master scheduling, materials requirements planning, and production activity control. Regularly update and review maintenance progress in ensuring compliance with organization goals. Perform various continuous improvement or development projects as assigned by manager. Maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders both internal and where appropriate external.
