About the role:

Develop and implement efficient sourcing and category management strategies.

Ensure security of local raw material supply (quality on time in full).

Source raw materials in the most cost-effective manner at the same time keeping a good eye on quality.

Analyse and calculate costs of procurement and ideal productivity opportunities.

Research and anticipate shifts in the negotiating power of suppliers as well as devise negotiation strategies and secure profitable long-term deals.

Identify and mitigate local raw material sourcing risks inclusive of short, mid, and long-term horizons.

Discover and partner with trustworthy vendors and suppliers including diverse suppliers as well as devise strategies to develop/empower the suppliers.

Deploy digital farming platforms to ensure smallholder farmers have accurate records and traceability is guaranteed in our sourcing regions.

Implement regenerative agriculture projects in-country, working collaboratively in cross-functional teams in an agile and delivery-oriented manner.

Organize and execute farmer engagement workshops, GAP trainings and field visits to ensure our local smallholder farmers are well equipped to be profitable in their operations.

Map all the key stakeholders, develop and implement robust stakeholder engagement plans.
