Manufacturing Welder
The Manufacturing Welder located in Ville Platte, La is responsible for weld preparation, welding and weld finishing operations to manufacture products according to drawings, specifications and other forms of instruction. Together, we create amazing technology that unlocks access to energy for the benefit of all. + Weld components in flat, vertical, horizontal or overhead positions. + Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend and grind component parts. + Detect faulty operation of equipment and materials. + Examine work for defects. + Operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade. + Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement, wherever applicable. + Wear PPE and observe HSE policies. + Maintain the required safety training. + The compensation and reference to benefits for this role is listed on this posting in compliance with applicable law. The selected candidate's compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please note that the compensation and benefits listed below are only applicable to successful candidates who are hired onto local payroll. + At SLB, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at/near the top of the range. The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $22-$34 per hour. + Candidates must have the legal right to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
