At EY Consulting, within the Technology Strategy & Transformation team, we advise CIOs, CTOs, and business leaders on their most pressing technology challenges. Our work lies at the intersection of strategy and execution, driving tangible business impact through technology. 

Are you eager to drive impactful digital transformation and shape the future of technology strategy? We are seeking a Manager to join our team, working with business and IT leaders to address complex technology challenges and enhance IT efficiency and performance. In this role, you will serve as a strategic technology advisor, delivering long-term value for our clients by assisting them in areas like technology strategy and operating models, application portfolio optimization, financial and operational IT improvement, technology selections and sourcing, and aligning business and technology architecture.

 

The Opportunity entails

Offering strategic advisory on IT operating models, enterprise architecture, and cloud strategies while supporting CIO/CTO agendas by aligning technology investments with business goals. Leading client engagements, managing relationships, and influencing technology decisions, while actively contributing to business development in technology consulting.

Skills & Attributes for Success

5+ years of experience with business consulting skills in technology strategy, digital transformation, or enterprise architecture, preferably with experience in Big 4s, strategy firms, etc. Ability to bridge business needs with technology strategies and influence C-level stakeholders through leadership and problem-solving skills with a focus on advising clients and leading projects, rather than on technical details. Familiarity with technology (IT operating models, cloud strategies, technology architecture, etc.) is beneficial; deep technical expertise is not required. The ability to connect with people, processes, and technology is more important than the technical depth. Ability to communicate well (written & verbal) in English; preferably also in Finnish, given our business landscape. Experience in managing teams, mentoring junior colleagues, and driving delivery excellence. Commercial acumen; capability & willingness to network in the market Client site working, primarily in the capital area, may be required occasionally for better collaboration & impactful solutions.
