Key Responsibilities:

CI/CD Pipeline Development: Design and implement automated CI/CD pipelines to streamline the deployment of applications. Ensure seamless integration between development and production environments. Infrastructure Automation: Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Cossplane, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager to automate the provisioning and management of cloud infrastructure. Ensure consistent and repeatable deployments across environments. NoSQL Database Management: Design, deploy, and optimize NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or DynamoDB for high availability and scalability. Implement database sharding, replication, and backup strategies to ensure data integrity and recovery. Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal query execution and data retrieval. Cloud Infrastructure Management: Deploy and manage cloud resources on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Ensure cloud infrastructure is secure, scalable, and cost-effective. Implement auto-scaling, load balancing, and fault tolerance to ensure high availability of applications. Monitoring and Logging: Set up and manage monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch to monitor application and infrastructure performance. Implement logging solutions using tools like ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) or Splunk to track application logs and troubleshoot issues. Security and Compliance: Ensure that cloud infrastructure and NoSQL databases are secure and compliant with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). Implement security best practices such as IAM, encryption, and access controls. Collaboration:

Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of applications with cloud infrastructure and NoSQL databases

Work with operations teams to ensure that applications are properly monitored and maintained in production environments. Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of cloud infrastructure and NoSQL databases. Implement caching mechanisms, indexing strategies, and query optimization techniques to improve application performance. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of cloud infrastructure, NoSQL databases, and CI/CD pipelines. Ensure that documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible to all relevant teams. Stay Updated with Industry Trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in DevOps, NoSQL databases, and cloud technologies. Participate in training and certifications to enhance your skills.

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience in a related field may be considered.

 

Technical Skills:

 

Proficiency in one or more public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Strong knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, or similar technologies. Experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, ECS, AKS). Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager. Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions. Understanding of monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk. Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Understanding of cloud security, identity, and access management (IAM) 

Soft Skills:

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Certifications:

 

AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Developer. MongoDB Certified Developer or Cassandra Certified Developer.

Additional Experience:

Experience with serverless computing (Lambda, Azure Functions, Cloud Functions). Knowledge of microservices architecture and API design. Familiarity with DevOps tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. Experience with database migration and data modeling.

Knowledge of cloud-native technologies and modern application architectures.
