Job Summary
Manage medical underwriting team regarding SLA and daily productivity and assigned to handle routine acitivites for medical application in timely manner.
Ensure the correct and appropriated underwriting decision by following the guidelines.
Handle the questions and provide the underwriting decision related information, according to customers’ enquiries which are received via email and telephone.
Key Responsibilities
1) Underwriting - Medical
- Investigate and provide underwriting decision (Approve/ Not Approve) for the complicated cases within turnaround time
- Provide coaching and feedback for Underwriting – Non Med and Med UW
- Prepare the documents in English and provide comments to Reinsurers for jumbo cases
- Provide underwriting consultancy services to group department and claim department
- Monitor underwriting daily productivity
2) Service Enquiries
- Handle the questions from customers and sales channels via 1373, e-mail, etc., and provide the information regarding to underwriting decision
- Perform direct calls to agents in order to perform Bottom-up NPS
3) Sales Channel Supports
- Provide support to sales channels in areas of underwriting guidelines (e.g. communication, training)
- Prepare the materials and conduct the sessions with the relevant parties
- Ensure the awareness and understanding of underwriting guidelines
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Nursing, Business of Sciences (Medical Technology) or related field
• 3-5 yrs of experience in Underwriting – Medical, Claim Management, or other related fields in bank or insurance industry
