This position has to manage teams of Business Development Manager (BDM) and Business Development Executive (BDE) which are separated by area. The manager has the responsibility of selling insurance products through the assigned Bank branches by building long term relationship with the bank and also driving sales and achieving the sales target. This position will maintain the strong relationship with bank partners, and promote the engagement with bank's distribution management to drive sales volume. This also includes competencies development of BDM/E team as well as coordination with internal departments to solve sales-related issues. Effectively execute all marketing activities as per requirement is needed
1) Sales & Relationship Management
Build and maintain the strong relationship with Bank of Ayudya (BAY/Krungsri) and/or other assigned bank partners to
generate sales volume according to the target.
- Drive sales and achieve targets through the bank branches
Promote the engagement with the bank partners' branch management officers i.e. Regional Director, Regional Manager,
and Branch Manager to drive sales volume and ensure business continuity per company direction.
2) Manage and Develop Team Competencies
Plan and deploy both quantity and quality of BDM/E resource to ensure effective and efficient services & supports for
the bank branches in assigned territory.
Manage sales performance of BDM/E team through the development of training plan
Coach BDM/E to develop their business knowledge and skills needed to perform the jobs in field.
- Monitor BDM/E sales performance and service quality on regular basis (daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/annually).
3) Coordination with Internal Departments
Coordinate with the internal parties e.g. Banca Ops support team, Central Ops, Claims, Underwriting, POS, and create
internal network to follow up and solve sales-related issues that impact the business.
Use his/her field sales management knowledge/experience to provide suggestions or solutions to the business.
- Ensure that all service requirements are met, medicals facilitated and customers are satisfied.
4) Business Management
Plan and Influence bank branches to sell the right products according to strategic direction of AZAY i.e. Hybrid
Products rather than Guaranteed ones.
- Monitor and control BDM/E and bank branches to also align with above strategies.
- Monitor and control BDM/E and bank branches to follow AZAY and bank's compliance.
Qualifications :
- 8 years of experience in Sales Management, Relationship Management, Sales Operations Support or other related fields in insurance or banking business
- Bachelors degree in relevant technical/ quantitative fields with relevant work experience
