Manager, Supply Chain-Labor Insights

Position Purpose:

Workforce Insights leads a high-performing team of analysts responsible for uncovering labor performance opportunities and influencing strategic programs across the supply chain. This role requires a combination of advanced technical acumen, business judgment, and leadership to translate complex data into actionable recommendations for senior leadership and operational partners.


Key Responsibilities:

35% – Problem Solving & Insight Generation: Conduct advanced data mining and modeling to identify labor performance trends and opportunities. Translate findings into insights that drive productivity and efficiency across the network.

25% – Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and coach a team of analysts to ensure accurate analysis, on-time delivery, and professional growth.

20% – Strategic Program Support: Partner with cross-functional teams to shape and support Supply Chain labor programs and planning.

20% – Project & Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain project plans and stakeholder communications to ensure alignment and progress toward business goals.

Direct Manager/Direct Reports:

Reports to Sr. Manager, Director Sr. Director or VPTypically requires interpersonal skills for dealing with sensitive or controversial situations.Typically faces situations that are unstructured and require original approaches.Typically considers new courses of action within broad policies and medium-term goals when solving problems.Typically, once given general assignments, determines priorities and defines what should be done and how to do it.


Travel Requirements:

Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.


Physical Requirements:

Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting in the same location with some opportunity to move about; occasionally there may be a need to stoop or lift light objects (typically less than 8 pounds).


Working Conditions:

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.Under regular pressure to meet deadlines, quotas and/or must frequently deal with difficult issues related to people or situations.


Minimum Qualifications:

Must be eighteen years of age or older.Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Math or Finance DegreeExperience managing multiple direct reportsExperience with Labor Management or Workforce Management applications·Experience with Six Sigma or other Process Improvement MethodologyProficient in: Microsoft Office Suite including Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word and Visio.Advanced Skills in: SQL, BigQuery, Tableau, Python, VBAProject Management SkillsFinance/CBA/Capital Budget ExperienceDemonstrated ability to influence stakeholders through data storytelling.

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
