Overview
Mastercard Enterprise Gateway Solutions (EGS) provides seamless connectivity into our Payment Processing and Decisioning products for customers of all types. Assets formerly known as the Mastercard Payment Gateway Services (MPGS), Direct Services Access (DSA), Networks Exchange (NEX), and Private Label Card Programs are now consolidated under a single Gateway portfolio.
The EGS Commercialization & Growth team is responsible for driving go-to-market strategies and developing a best-in-class value propositions to enable regional teams and Sales to drive new business to the Gateway and growing existing accounts. The role will be focused on continuing to scale the Mobility and Travel verticals for EGS including establishing channel partnerships with key industry participants. The ideal candidate should be passionate about the customer experience journey, driving growth, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset
Role and responsibilities:
Become the global SME on the Mobility (i.e. Transit) and Airline verticals
Build and maintain go-to-market strategies for each vertical
Deliver training/upskilling sessions to the regional colleagues, business development and sales to ensure the EGS value proposition is understood
Build and maintain strong relationships system integrators and partners in the travel (i.e. GDS’s) and mobility vertical (i.e. AFC providers).
Drive revenue growth by working with partners/system integrators to identify opportunities that Regional teams can pursue.
Maintain a vertical specific pipeline globally, tracking and providing period updates to management on their status
Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, competitive landscape, and market trends to inform Product Development and go-market-strategy
Attend industry conferences and represent EGS to advocate its solutions
Work closely with internal stakeholders, including EGS Global Sales, Product Development, Regional Product, Marketing, Finance, and wider Mastercard Mobility and B2B Travel team, to provide SME support for customer conversations.
Collaborate with global and regional teams to synthesize customer learnings and pain points.
Inform the product development roadmap to ensure a robust value proposition, focusing on developments that drive commercial impact and product scalability.

Experience in go-to-market, product, sales, business development, or related roles in the payments industry with demonstrable achievements.
Proven track record of driving revenue growth and market share expansion in the payments industry.
Deep knowledge of the payments industry, ideally linked to the mobility or travel sector.
